Deer constantly seek three main things: a water source, a food source, and a bedding area. If your hunting property doesn’t have a natural water source, check out our Wild Water Systems to provide the deer herd with one of their vital needs. Review our products below to learn how they can help you keep deer on your property all summer.

Wild Water Systems

Our Wild Water Systems provide the deer herd with a consistent water source thanks to the three-feet-long troughs that come with each model. The tank automatically refills the troughs when the float valve system senses that the troughs are empty, so you can fill the trough to the top and forget about it until the tank itself is empty. Our systems come with either 50-gallon, 100-gallon or 300-gallon tanks. The 50-gallon and 100-gallon systems come with one trough and the 300-gallon tank comes with two. The extra space will allow multiple deer from the herd to drink from the trough at the same time.

Wild Water Bladder

The Wild Water Bladder is a portable water dispenser that holds 100 gallons of water. You can use it to easily fill any of our systems in only one to three trips. It comes with four heavy-duty D-rings so you can attach it to your truck bed or one of our Trail Runner 62 trailers for secure transport. The material of the bladder is flexible so once you’ve filled your water systems, you can fold it up and store it away in a compact area.

Wild Water Supplements

Deer seek nutrients in the fall to prepare for harsh winter conditions and during the summer they seek nutrients to recover from it. Our Wild Water Supplements have nutrients that are addictive to deer, so by introducing vitamins, supplements and nutrients into their diet now, they’ll be addicted to it by the time hunting season opens in August. They’ll begin to associate the source with your property and keep coming back all year. The Wild Water Supplements dissolve in water to distribute the vitamins and flavor throughout the whole tank. One package can treat 100 gallons of water. The supplements are flavored with a deer’s favorite things to ensure repeat visits. Choose from apple, grape, persimmon, vanilla and natural flavors.

Make sure your water source is not directly in your active hunting area. You need sections of your hunting property that are no-go zones where you never hunt the deer. Hunting on top of food or water sources will discourage the deer from coming back. Designate separate areas for active hunting and for food and water sources. Set up trail cameras next to the water source so you can monitor the deer behavior and note the time of day the deer tend to visit it. Use this information to construct your fall hunting plan. Note the direction they’re coming from and start your fall season in those spots.

Whether you have a natural water source or one of our Wild Water Systems, making sure the deer herd has access to water on your hunting property is important for ensuring they’ll return during the fall hunting season. Check your state’s regulations to make sure supplemental feeding is legal in your area.
